biographyabout livLiv Warfield is a rising star and one of the most promising artists in the industry today. Just like her musical heroines Jill Scott, Nina Simone, Tina Turner, Sade and Mary J. Blige; Warfields voice is powerful, yet sultry and engaging. Im an emotional singer...I wear my emotions on my sleeve and thats how I like it.The passion and pain caused by love is evident on her debut album called Embrace Me. "I want people to embrace the real me, the one who's been hiding for so long. I come from a long line of athletes; not artists, so music truly changed my life. It allowed me to express myself as a woman and made me a lot stronger as a person. As a writer and lyricist, it opened doors and opened my mind." Embrace Me introduces listeners to Warfields range of talent that includes an intoxicating blend of R&B rhythms, traditional rock-and-roll; yet its sound and lyrics are reminiscent of an era when soul music had meaning and substance. Crooning sweetly on sexy radio-ready tracks and easy-listening ballads, Liv expertly pairs emotive poetry and lyrical storytelling amidst the soundscape of solid instrument laden grooves.
